Bjørneparken will be closed for regular visitors until 24th March 2012. We're still open for reservations from school classes and other groups.
The Scandinavian Brown Bear is an omnivorous mammal. Its preferred habitat is coniferous forests and wood-clad mountains. It hibernates during the winter.
The Lynx is Scandinavia’s only wildcat. It is found virtually everywhere in Norway but is seldom sighted – it is afraid of humans and can easily conceal itself.
