The Scandinavian Brown Bear is an omnivorous mammal. Its preferred habitat is coniferous forests and wood-clad mountains. It hibernates during the winter.
The moose is the largest animal in the deer family and is often referred to as the king of the forest. It can run very quietly through dense woodland at speeds of up to 60 km/h.
The Hedgehog is a nocturnal animal during the summer that hibernates in the winter. It protects itself against predators with the help of up to 7,000 strong spines!
The Goat is a popular domestic animal all over the world because it is hardy and able to sustain itself on a meagre diet. It is often referred to as ‘the poor man’s cow’.
